Customer Service Representative

We are looking for smart, driven and competitive 4-40 licensed customer service reps to join our team.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

Answer incoming calls in a professional manner and assist clients with their needs to the full extension of the authority granted to you by us or the scope of your insurance license, designations and/or knowledge base.
Keep electronic records of all conversations with clients, insurance companies, financial institutions or any other party that may have an interest in one or more of the account that you will be servicing; keeping detailed explanation of all inquiries or complaints as well as the actions/steps taken to fulfill such requirement and assist the client.
Advise clients regarding insurance coverage, policy types, forms, endorsements, exclusions, etc., as well as “limited” risk management. Provide comprehensive explanation with respect to any matter related to the field of insurance.
Process insurance application, policy changes (increase-decrease limits of insurance), endorsements, payments, renewals, and cancellations.
Process notifications, newsletters, emails, mail, and other forms of correspondences containing information from the customers and/or companies that are assigned to you.
Foster and maintain good working relationships with clients, insurance company’s employees, financial institutions, other employees of our agency(s) and partner companies/agencies including but not limited to real estate sales associates, and mortgage brokers.
Form and develop long-term relationship with any individual and/or entity that represents a source of leads/clients by using referrals, occupational, and special-interest network groups.
Approach potential clients by mail or phone.

Position Requirements

Successful candidates will possess an insurance background with customer service and relationship management experience. If you have the following qualifications, we want to meet you!

Agency Experience

4-40 licensed or willing to obtain.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of insurance products and coverages Strong phone presence and customer service experience Well organized with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Self-starter and hardworking, with a track record of success and drive for achievement.
